Today we would like to say a huge thank you to all our supporters who are on the front line in the nation’s battle against the coronavirus – whether that’s as part of the NHS or emergency services, other kinds of essential work, or caring for relatives and friends. Please know that our thoughts are with you all. We are so proud of the many supporters of the Carmelites who are volunteering as part of the national effort. And we’re looking forward to giving you all a warm welcome back in person when we open again.
Let us pray...
We pray for all doctors, nurses and emergency workers. May they rejoice in the skills you have given them which enable them to bring hope, healing and wholeness to those in their care. May they also know guidance and support in times of pain and frustration when their skills are not enough to prevent permanent injury, disability or death. Bless each one of them, that they may be a blessing to others.
