Training of Carmelites

Friday, August 16, 2019 - 18:45
“The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
Yesterday in Aylesford Priory, Brother Richard Green (pictured above) received the ministry of lector from the Prior Provincial, Father Kevin Alban. The ministry of lector is one of the steps taken by Brother Richard in his journey to become a Carmelite priest.
Since 1955, the contributions of those devoted to Saint Jude, have allowed the Carmelites to support the training and ongoing formation for Carmelite priests and brothers, including Brother Richard.
If each of our many friends on this page were to give a £1 donation towards ongoing training, we would raise an incredible amount! This would have a transformational effect to the work we do. Please donate, here, or visit our page to send a donation by post.
THANK YOU to all the supporters of the National Shrine of Saint Jude who have made Brother Richard’s training possible. It is your support, through your donations and prayers, which enable the Carmelites to minister in Britain and beyond. GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY.
Brother Richard is currently studying in Rome and during his summer break was recently working alongside the Faversham community at the Shrine of Saint Jude. He is now assisting at Aylesford Priory.
May God, who is never outdone in generosity, bless you for your kindness.
Saint Jude, pray for us.
