God's Universe

"The mystery and wonder of God's creation can open the hearts of men and women to express their gratitude through prayer", Pope Francis stated two years ago. The Pope continued that human beings are "the only creature aware of such a profusion of beauty" and cannot help but "wonder what design of love must be behind such a powerful work of the univese." Let us now look at the impressive and massive Universe God has created by reflecting on the images below...

The size of the universe does not stop the fact that every human life is “unique and unrepeatable, valuable in and of itself, constitutes an inestimable worth. This,” underscored Pope Francis, “must be announced ever anew, with the courage of words and the courage of action. This calls for solidarity and love for the great human family, and for each one of its members.” Let's look after our Earth - we only have one and all these places in the images above are currently impossible to visit - there is no escape! God gave us this world and asked us to look after it.

Let us pray..

O Christ Jesus, I acknowledge You King of the Universe. All that has been created has been made for You. Exercise upon me all Your rights. I renew my baptismal promises renouncing Satan and all his works and pomps. I promise to lead a good Christian life and to do all in my power to procure the triumph of the rights of God and Your Church. Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You my poor actions in order to obtain that all hearts may acknowledge Your sacred royalty and that thus the reign of Your peace may be established throughout the universe. Amen.
